Silver Sand Resort

I had the opportunity to visit this resort in early June with a small group of motorcycle friends. We stayed two nights and it was unbelievable. The food was fabulous with ample selection to please everyone. Breakfast consisted of homemade strudel, bacon, eggs, omelettes, bagels, and dinners were Chicken kebabs Grilled vegetables, salads and more. The rooms were comfortable with a small fridge, 2 double beds, and lots of hot water. The beach was a very close walk and as promised, it offers a sandy bottom that would be great for children and safe. Bring bug spray for the evening fires.

We own a trailer here. I love this place. My kids cry every time we have to go home. Lots of kids and great families alike. The owner is so wonderful. The beach is gorgeous. I haven't fished personally but I seen a few people pull out some nice Size bass and there is trout in the river. Lots of people go mushroom picking in the fall. Lots of people going around on atv on the trails. Lots to do. Just want to say thank you again to Nick and his family and Joe and Lyndsy

Trevor Demain. Would be the old owners son. The family continues to give the resort a bad reputation as Trevor has not been to the resort to know how the managers are. The food is awesome with better prices than the surrounding restaurants and resorts. Premium gas on site. Nice sandy beach and right on the snowmobile trails

Stayed here while snowmobiling on the night of Feb 11, 2022. We could not find anything else in the area as it was all booked up. Owner Nick was very accommodating and offered us a Park Model trailer, gave us his personal cell number for when we arrived and called us back to ensure everything was good. Manager Ryan was also amazing and checked on us, brought us over anything we asked for and really made us feel welcomed and settled in. It was a great experience. Looking forward to returning and having the restaurant open. Great service.

Attended a friends wedding... stayed here for the night, rooms were updated and clean... fridge in the rooms.... staff went above and beyond shuttling us from the hotel to the wedding and picking us up later that night... owner made us breakfast next day for the wedding party and guests... was fantastic! Thank you!

I spend three days at the resort, including meals, the owner made us feel right at home. Abundant and great selection of food for breakfast and dinner that we skipped lunches. :) A place to came back.

I did not stop and stay at the resort but stopped by the restaurant on site for breakfast and all I can say all the staff were very polite and courteous. Breakfast was good and filling, if you like alot of food get the big breaky( yay, and a place that knows how to cook an egg to order.) The restaurant was DJ's but as I am writing this, we were talking to the waitress and she let us know they will no longer be there after this week, as of October 2nd they will be located at the legion. So if you are ever in the area of Kearney and good friendly service with good food check this place out. It was a good stop for the start of a good atv ride.

We were at Silver Sand Resort for a couple of days. The place is very beautiful. Loved the owner and the people who work there. We had our car stuck in a ditch for few hours and the people who own the place went out of their way and helped us take it out. Cant thank them enough. An amazing experience with a splendid view and wonderful owners. Highly recommend.
